Quick Start

  1. Install Odin and launch it. The Odin icon appears in your menu bar or system tray.

  2. Grant permissions when the onboarding screen appears — Microphone and Screen Recording (macOS).

  3. Open the panel by clicking the Odin icon in your menu bar.

  4. Hold Ctrl+Space, speak your question, then release.

  5. Odin responds — spoken aloud, with a small blue triangle on screen pointing at anything relevant.

Try these first

Here are some things to try right away:

Ask about your screen:

“What does this error mean?”

“Where’s the setting to change the font size?”

“Explain what this code does.”

Ask general questions:

“What’s the difference between a monad and a functor?”

“Give me a regex that matches email addresses.”

Launch a background agent:

“Research the best Tailwind CSS component libraries and save a summary to my desktop.”

“Write a Python script that renames all the JPEGs in my Downloads folder by date taken.”

Customize your experience

Open the panel and click the gear icon to:

  • Enter your OpenRouter API key
  • Change the AI model
  • Select the TTS voice
  • Choose your microphone
  • Enable or disable memory and skills
  • Connect MCP servers
